5Great StuffJul 29, 2011

I use this to make molds for specialty soaps. It works great. And it picks up all the detail that makes my product even better. Easy to use and the finished product is great.

4Good for small projects!Jul 19, 2013

I work on cosplay projects, and this is pretty effective for the cost. I can't always afford to get platinum silicone every time I want to cast something, so I thought I'd give this a try, and it works just as well.

Do pay attention to the shelf life. Past the recommended shelf life, the molds are more prone to having air bubbles. The first mold I made with it had no problems, but an older set of this owned by some friends definitely lent itself to lots of air bubbles in their mold.

5I'll get this amazing stuff again!May 09, 2012
By Martha Dillon "Martha"
I used this to make a silicone mold out of a hard plastic mold, so I could use it for resin, or even polymer clay. My mold was about 2" thick in one egg-sized area, and it still cured within 2 hours. According to the directions, to use it for the fast curing resin (heat producing), I had to wait another day, which put me into the work week again, so that will wait until the weekend, but my other molds work easily for polymer clay. I'll buy this again, probably the gallon size next time.

A word of thanks to the sellers - this arrived in excellent condition, and it was early. They get 5 stars from me!

4Best for beginners!Oct 03, 2013

Easy to use! Capture every detail in mold making! Disadvantage...expensive shipping and only has a short shelf life of 60 days. Too bad I can't save it for future projects.
